Carlos D. Calvillo, FNC-PB

Biography:

Carlos D. Calvillo, FNP-BC is an educated and experienced medical professional with an impactful background. He initially graduated from UTEP with a nursing degree and immediately pursued further education, attaining a Masters in Nursing Administration/Management and Education. After earning his BSN, he began his medical career in 2016 as a pediatric ICU charge nurse at Las Palmas Medical Center. Later, he transitioned to the adult population and gained experience as an ICU RN at Del Sol Medical Center and Hospitals of Providence Transmountain. Thereafter, he continued his academic journey earning a Postgraduate Degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, TX. Prior to his medical career and during his education, he proudly served the El Paso community as a member of the El Paso Fire Department, where after 24 years he retired as Battalion Chief. Alongside his contributions to our Urology center, Carlos currently serves as a commissioned officer in the United States Navy Reserves. With the addition of this driven and energetic Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner, our commitment to excellence remains unwavering at our urology center. We take great pride in welcoming this educated professional to our team, enhancing patient safety, comfort and care.
